Hope Brecht

Communications Specialist

Brecht communicates the Coalition’s mission and services by sharing the success stories of Iowa’s farm families who have grown their livestock farms successfully and responsibly using on-farm best management practices.

A native of Belle Plaine, IA, Brecht grew up surrounded by agriculture and quickly became engaged in FFA. Her passion for the industry grew as she furthered her involvement in the organization, eventually serving as the Southeast State Vice President for the Iowa FFA Association. Brecht graduated from Iowa State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications.

Prior to her work with the Coalition, Brecht worked with the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation as the Leadership Intern where she supported the young farmer and leadership programs.
