Olivia Hanlon

Communications Specialist

Hanlon will support the Coalition’s communications and outreach efforts by sharing the stories of Iowa farm families who have grown their livestock farms responsibly and successfully. She will develop content that highlights the Coalition’s mission and services while helping communicate the organization’s commitment to assisting farmers as they navigate opportunities and challenges in livestock production.

A native of Madrid, Iowa, Hanlon grew up on her family’s diversified crop and livestock farm, where she developed a passion for agriculture and supporting Iowa farm families. Prior to joining the Coalition, she served as Communications Manager for the Iowa Pork Producers Association, working on strategic communications efforts, developing producer-focused content and promoting Iowa’s pork industry. Hanlon earned both a bachelor’s degree in agricultural business and a master’s degree in business analytics from Iowa State University.
