This year’s theme of the contest will focus on celebrating what it means to be Iowa Ag Proud – highlighting CSIF’s 16th year of assisting Iowa’s farm families in raising livestock responsibly and successfully.

“Despite the uncertainty in the world today, farmers are still doing their best to safely, responsibly and successfully raise livestock,” says CSIF Executive Director Brian Waddingham. “Farming may be more of a challenging task today than in previous years, but the values of Iowa’s farm families are the same: compassion for livestock care, strong work ethic and a passion for the land. This contest is an outlet for Iowa farm families to show the great care they take in raising livestock and running their farms.”

All entries will be posted on August 20 to CSIF’s Facebook page to begin the voting period which will conclude at 8 p.m. on September 1. Votes will be counted by the number of likes each photo receives and will only be counted on the original photo posted on the CSIF Facebook page.

The top three photos with the most likes by 8 p.m. on September 1 will be awarded the following prizes: grand prize winner will receive a Yeti cooler, a $20 gift card and CSIF swag;  second highest votes will receive a Yeti tumbler, $10 gift card, and CSIF swag; and the third place winner will receive a $10 gift card and CSIF swag.
