West Des Moines, Iowa – April 20, 2023 —Controlled Access is the latest partner to provide support of Iowa agriculture through an investment in the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers (CSIF).

Brian Waddingham, executive director of the Coalition, says the group has stepped forward with an investment to support our efforts in working with livestock farmers.

“We’re extremely grateful for the contribution made by Controlled Access to the Coalition and are deeply appreciative of their support of Iowa agriculture,” he says. “The financial commitment made by Controlled Access will assist CSIF in its efforts to provide direct assistance to livestock farmers as they strive to grow their farms successfully and responsibly.”

Security has become increasingly important to protect livestock. Controlled Access specializes in the installation of automated gates and security cameras on livestock and poultry farms. They work on all types and sizes of livestock and poultry farms. More information about their services is available at www.controlmidwest.com.

“Controlled Access is very proud to support the Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers”, said Cory Coburn, Manager with Controlled Access. “The Coalition has been a huge asset to livestock farmers by providing a clear understanding of the rules, regulations, and resources needed to grow in an environmentally responsible matter. We look forward to assisting livestock and poultry farmers with their on-farm security needs to give them piece of mind that their livestock and buildings are secure.”

The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers has helped over 5,100 farm families grow responsibly and successfully since its launch in 2004. CSIF assists farmers with rules and regulations, site analysis and neighbor relations. The Controlled Access investment assures these services remain free and confidential for all Iowa farm families.

The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers was created by farmers to help farmers raise livestock successfully and responsibly. It’s a joint partnership involving the Iowa Beef Industry Council, Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Soybean Association, Iowa Turkey Federation, Midwest Dairy and the North Central Poultry Association.

The non-profit, non-partisan organization provides assistance to farmers at no cost. CSIF does not lobby or develop policy. Farm families wanting a helping hand can contact the Coalition at 1-800-932-2436 or visit www.supportfarmers.com.
